Home wiring is a key part of the AV industry. At the "2024 Future Home Forum + CEDIA Training in Zhengzhou" from July 19th to 21st, top experts and engineers in AV, smart home, and networking shared insights on home wiring and theater setup with thousands of attendees. CEDIA's international experts addressed industry challenges, while Bridged Wire led with a presentation on the four key principles of choosing in-wall projector cables.
The four key principles for in-wall projector cables are: planning for HDMI cables, power lines, and Cat6 cables during electrical and plumbing setup; running two HDMI cables through the conduit; ensuring correct cable direction; and choosing fiber optic HDMI cables and high-bandwidth quality materials.
Bridged Wire showcased the Q8K HDMI 2.1 8K fiber optic cable, combining theory with practical demonstration. The Q8K, certified by the international HDMI Association with UHS certification, ensures accurate specifications and strict quality standards. With a maximum length of 30 meters, it suits large home setups, offering 48 Gbps bandwidth and 8K resolution, while fully supporting 4K AV and future 8K upgrades. The plug is two-thirds the length of standard ones, making it easy to run through conduits. This Q8K cable sets an excellent example for in-wall projector wiring.
In addition to in-wall projector cables, Bridged Wire also shared solutions for preventing rodent damage, avoiding construction-related wear, and selecting cables for PS5. The "2024 Future Home Forum + CEDIA Training in Zhengzhou" was packed with valuable insights, with leading industry brands providing rich knowledge and experiences in AV, smart home, and entertainment.
